Composting is nature’s way of recycling. Composting biodegrades organic waste (i.e. food waste, manure, leaves, grass trimmings, paper, wood etc.) turning it into a valuable fertiliser and we recover green waste from many of the communities we serve.
Eco Protection is working more with Local Authorities to promote garden waste collection and composting schemes to help fulfill regulatory targets and reduce and recycle more organic waste.
As a lot of people don’t know about composting we will be operating a number of composting schemes and courses to show people how to turn waste from domestic, commercial and horticultural sources into an organic peat-free soil conditioner and other products for commercial sale.
